Perry Wyatt Jr. Raced At Detroit Dragway We’ve all hear the expressions “Like father like son” or “The apple don’t fall far from the tree” Likewise Perry Jr. followed in his dad’s love of cars & drag racing, especially at Detroit Dragway. Golden Commandos Raced At Detroit Dragway Going to Detroit Dragway in the 60’s was so much fun. As a MOPAR lover my two favorite cars were the Golden Commandos & Color Me Gone. They were one of the track’s favorite. Pete Seaton’s Seaton’s Shaker Raced At Detroit Dragway One of the best-known hot rods at Detroit Dragway was Seaton’s Shaker . The Seaton’s Shaker Chevelle nitro funny car could carry the left front tire three feet in the air, while the right tire was still trundling on the asphalt.
