One of the best know & loved drivers & hot rods at Detroit Dragway was Roger Lindamood & Color Me Gone.  They were one of the track’s favorite. Pete Seaton’s Seaton’s Shaker Raced At Detroit Dragway One of the best-known hot rods at Detroit Dragway was Seaton’s Shaker . The RAMCHARGERS raced at Detroit Dragway The RAMCCARGERS were one of the best known hot rods that raced at The Double D.  Growing up in Allen Park I would go past their shops a few time a month and always loved seeing one of their race cars sitting outside the shop. Della Woods raced at Detroit Dragway® Della Woods and her brother Bernie Woods were from  Lake Orion,, MI  They campaigned match races during the 1960s and early 1970s, with Bernie as crew chief and Della as driver. Woods qualified for an NHRA AA/FC license in 1968 signed by Rodger Lindamood, Don Garlits and Don Kohler, only to have the association revoke the license, saying it was too dangerous for a woman to run in that class.
