2022 Detroit Dragway Reunion The 2022 Detroit Dragway Reunion was held on 7-23-22 at Milan Dragway. It was wonderful to go back the the NEW & much improved Milan Dragway. The new owners have done a lot in only five months to improve the dragstrip. Not counting the purchase price I believe they have already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they many more ideas they want to improve along with new features they would like to add to the property. Dale Pulde Raced War Eagle At Detroit Dragway Dale raced War Eagle at Detroit Dragway on July 15 , 1967. Dale had War Eagle painted in the same color scheme as John Force’s current Funny Car. Dale qualified War Eagle in the number two position with a time of 11.42 seconds. In the first round of eliminations, Dale defeated Ronnie Sox with a time of 11.38 seconds.
